CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

Abstracts are encouraged for sharing new information on the following topics: vascular brachytherapy, site specific drug, gene or molecular therapy, angiogenesis, myogenesis, percutaneous myocardial revascularization and transmyocardial revascularization, vascular and myocardial tissue engineering as well as novel cardiovascular imaging technics. Abstracts may be from any area of research in basic, animal and clinical investigation. The abstracts should constitute original re­ search, but the content may include portions of prior abstracts and/or manuscripts submitted or presented elsewhere. Please adhere to the following preparation instructions.

ABSTRACT PREPARATION INSTRUCTIONS

1.The abstract must be submitted on the enclosed Abstract Form.

2.Abstracts must be typed in English.

3.The abstract must be contained in the space provided and use a type size no smaller than 10 point.

4.Type title in BOLD using upper and lower case letters.

5.Type complete names of authors (MD or other principal de­ grees not necessary). List responsible institutions and their respective cities and states. Include country if submitted outside Switzerland.

6.Leave a blank line after author(s)/institution(s) and before ab­ stract text. Please underline the name of the presenting author.

7.Abstract text should include purpose, methods, results, and conclusions. Do not include references or credits. Simple tables or graphs may be included if they fit within the space allowed.

8.Use standard abbreviations. Please special or unusual abbre­ viations in parentheses after the full word the first time it appears. A limit of five additional special abbreviations may be used in each ab­ stract.

9.Please avoid printing on lines of abstract box.

ABSTRACT SELECTION AND PRESENTATION

1.Abstracts must be received by December 8, 2002.

2.Abstracts will be reviewed by a panel of faculty and results will be forwarded to the corresponding author by December 15,

2002.

3.Accepted abstracts will be presented during a special ses­

sion on January 24, 2003.

Reduced registration for the meeting will be extended to one submitting author for each accepted abstract.

4. Abstracts accepted for presentation will be published in the 2003 LDDR Abstract Book
