In the difficult situation, they did not give up. I believe that their love and support helped them to make their dinner a success and carried it off.

2. Comment on the title of the story “The Before-Christmas Present”.

The story "The Before-Christmas Present" by Rosamunde Pilcher is a story of meeting of Ellen Parry and Ruth Sanderford. Both women give each other a certain before - Christmas present. Ellen is a housewife. She wants to open her own small business. However, she doubts. But Ruth gives Ellen inspiration and encouragement to start it.
