Введение
Сборник контрольных работ и контрольно-тренировочных упражнений по английскому языку предназначен для студентов-заочников I и II курсов неязыковых факультетов педагогических институтов. Материал соответствует требованиям программы по английскому языку для студентов-заочников высших учебных заведений, которая предусматривает, в основном, самостоятельные занятия студентов.
Перед авторами сборника ставились следующие задачи: 1) оказать практическую помощь студентам-заочникам, самостоятельно изучающим английский язык, снабдив их большим количеством тренировочных упражнений, которые охватывают основные разделы грамматики; 2) проверить знание пройденного учебного материала.
Сборник состоит из четырех частей. Каждая часть включает:
Перечень грамматического материала, который должен быть усвоен студентами.
Контрольно-тренировочные упражнения.
Контрольную работу.
За семестр студент пишет одну контрольную работу и высылает ее на проверку в институт в строго установленный срок. Перед тем как приступить к выполнению контрольной работы, необходимо изучить указанный материал и выполнить контрольно-тренировочные упражнения.
Каждая контрольная работа содержит 6 текстов, предназначенных для студентов нетехнических специальностей. Тексты по истории, литературе, искусству, музыке, образованию и т.д. Номер (вариант) текста соответственно указывается преподавателем. К текстам даны вопросы для проверки понимания прочитанного, а также перевод слов и выражений там, где это необходимо. Контрольные работы должны отвечать следующим требованиям:
1. Первая страница тетради должна быть оставлена чистой для рецензии преподавателя.
2. В тетради должны быть поля для замечаний и рекомендаций рецензентов.
3. Задания нужно обязательно переписать в тетрадь.
4. При переводе с английского языка на русский каждое предложение нужно писать с новой строки: английское предложение – на левой, а его перевод – на правой странице тетради.
Ошибки в контрольной работе должны быть исправлены студентом согласно указаниям рецензента, а недостаточно усвоенные темы семестра дополнительно проработаны перед устным зачетом.
Студенты, не справившиеся с контрольной работой, не допускаются к зачету (или к экзамену) за соответствующий учебный семестр.
